Dr. Robert I. Roach Jr.

Dr. Robert I Roach, Jr. answered the call of the Lord to preach the Gospel in 1982.  He attended Bethel Bible Institute and graduated with honors in May of 1986.  He preached on the street corner and anywhere and everywhere someone would listen. He also served as an Associate Minister at the church where he was baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit in June 1979.  

Dr. Roach had a strong desire to minister to hurting people.  In April of 1991, Faith Christian Center was founded by Pastor Roach and held its first Bible Class in the home of he and his wife L’Tanya as their 3 children filled the positions of ushers.  By June of that same year they outgrew the living room and moved into the nearby Wintergreen School gymnasium in Hamden, CT.  We relocated to our current location at 295 Treadwell Street, Hamden, Connecticut in 1992.

Dr. Roach’s spiritual growth and progress in the Word has been evident and on November 8, 2015 Pastor Roach was hooded with a honorary Doctorate of Divinity Degree from St. Thomas Christian University. Gods prosperity is also being reflected in the life of his congregation.  Many have been baptized with the Holy Spirit and are enjoying good health, prosperity and God’s blessings.  Dr.  Roach extends an open invitation to all that thirst and hunger for God’s word to come and be filled. The doors of the church are always open and all are welcome. Witness the fulfilling of God’s word first hand.
